Understanding the impact of our work is really important to us. We do this by collecting stories, feedback, and other evidence about the difference our work is making in communities across the country. We also partner with research centres and universities to get an external perspective on our impact. This helps us to keep improving what we do, and to share what we are learning with others.
Over recent years we have drawn upon the expertise of researchers at the University of York, the University of Leeds, Sheffield Hallam University, Coventry University, and Public Perspectives, to assess the impact of our projects and programmes.
In this section you can find our annual Church Urban Fund Impact Reports, programme evaluation summary reports, and useful resources to support you in evidencing the impact of your own work.
Near Neighbours Summary: Final Evaluation
An external evaluation was commissioned to explore the long-term impact of Near Neighbours, examining how and to what extent Near Neighbours has developed local leadership, built the capacity of community organisations, and contributed to improved social cohesion and integration. The evaluation was conducted by brap between August 2018 and January 2019.
