1) Asylum and the Church Conference

The Asylum and the Church conference was hosted in Wolverhampton, helping churches to become more aware and respond to refugees and asylum seekers in their communities. 

118 people attended and 14 different organisations helping refugees from across the Diocese area were linked to potential volunteers.

3) Funding

We have been able to help a number of Refugee and Asylum projects apply for Together Grant funding, which has included:

* Buying sewing machines and lessons to upskill participants

* ESOL provision

* Drop-in for Refugee and Asylum Seekers 

4) Church & Community Talks

As part of our work to raise awareness of Refugee and Asylum Seekers locally, we have done a number of talks to churches and health groups.
