One of our key areas of work is on Dementia. We have worked with churches throughout Plymouth and helped them to become 'dementia friendly'.

We also set up a carol service for Christmas 2016 that was Dementia friendly. In doing this we received great support from the whole community with churches coming together and even the Navy from the local barracks coming down in uniform to act as stewards.

All in all, Plymouth had nearly 100 adults attend and around 30 children from local schools who came to sing carols for the adults. Due to high demand, the carol service will return this year as well as a series of other dementia friendly services through the year.

The dementia service was a great way to show churches in Plymouth how much difference we can make when we work together.
