In Preston and the adjoining district of South Ribble we operate in partnership with PCAN, the Preston Christian Action Network which was established in 2003. To connect with their activities and join their mailing lists go to their website

Current activities include:

    • involvement in the Preston Homeless Forum  - see
    • opportunities for faith groups to support asylum seekers and refugees through Preston City of Sanctuary  on Facebook at
    • developing a broad based Citizens organising group - see
    • mapping faith based social action in Preston and South Ribble - we now have a map of all the all the projects and activities of community benefit which are associated with churches and other faith communities who responded to Together Lancashire's survey sent out in May 2016.  To view full screen in a new tab just click on the square icon in the top right hand corner.
    • You may also want to look at Preston Cares, a new website which adds lots of cultural, sporting and health related community groups to our listings,
    • We have also just added a listing of all the forums and networks serving the community in Preston. It can be accessed here
