I just want to say a huge Thank You to John Davis for all the help, support and guidance he has given to me in the 3 years I have worked with him. On my first day at Together Liverpool I was welcomed with a huge smile, welcome poster, new mug, coaster and a comprehensive list of all the people within the Diocese who would be most helpful to me.

John was involved in the earliest discussions on the formation of the Credit Champions Network and helped to ensure that Liverpool was the pilot area chosen alongside London and Southwark. The pilot has now become Just Finance and is being rolled out in other areas across the country helping the most vulnerable to become financially resilient.

He has helped countless church communities with Mustard Seed grants, developing Places of Welcome and been a trusted advocate for the faith sector across the Diocesan area for many years, most notably organising a conference for Mayor Joe Anderson in 2013 and the Refugee Congress in 2014.

He will be greatly missed at St James House but will I’m sure put all that knowledge and experience to work for another worthy cause and they’ll be very lucky to have him!
