Two Recruitment Opportunities

  • Part time post - as Operations Coordinator
  • Consultancy - a self employed consultant who will work with the team to lead on the facilitation of the process in Birmingham.

 

Poverty Truth Commission is a process that brings together key decision makers with those living at the sharp end of poverty.

Building on the relationships developed through Birmingham Social Inclusion process ‘Giving Hope Changing Lives’, there is a strong commitment to carrying out this process in Birmingham, which has been effective in other parts of the UK.

 

Thrive Together Birmingham are the lead organisation enabling the facilitation of a Poverty Truth Commission in Birmingham and we are therefore looking to recruit a part time Operations Coordinator and a self employed consultant who will work with the team to lead on the facilitation of the process in Birmingham.

Operations Coordinator – Part time employed post

Hours:                         15 hours per week (including occasional evenings and weekends)

Salary :                        £23,660 (£9,941 pro rata)

Duration:                    21 months (Sept 2016 – July 2018)

Job Purpose:              To be part of a team managing and delivering Birmingham’s Poverty Truth Commission with special responsibility for the day to day administration of the operational delivery of the Commission and its gatherings.

Lead Facilitator – Consultancy 

Consultancy rate :     £15 per hour

Contract Duration:    About 950 hours over 21 months (Oct 2016 – July 2018) on the basis of about 10 hours per week to be worked by negotiation (may include some evenings and weekends)

Purpose:                    To collaborate with a small team managing and delivering Birmingham’s Poverty Truth Commission with special responsibility for the facilitation of gatherings and support for commissioners throughout the whole process.
