We were delighted to here this news recently from our friends at Refugee Migrant Centre, Walsall:

As  you would  know  we at The Refugee and Migrant Centre aim to assist refugees and migrants through  crisis and disadvantage, by removing barrier to their integration and enabling them to become equal citizens.

We have been providing casework, advice and guidance along side enabling the delivery of  ESOL 2 days a week, providing employability workshops  and supporting with communicational skills once a week in our Walsall office. This has helped to  provide proactive  intervention and alleviate the pressure of Walsall clients having to travel to Wolverhampton . Since we have been taking referral from Walsall Council we have seen over 50 new Walsall based clients and supported with multiple enquiries.

We are now in a position to open our doors to  all clients who meet our service criteria, offering assistance through our bespoke casework, advice and guidance. Initially this will be for 2 days a week every Tuesday and Thursday 9-1pm will be drop in and 2-5pm shall be appointment based intervention.

Would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your support and assistance in enabling us to work in Walsall. This has helped to alleviate the pressure of Walsall clients having to travel to Wolverhampton. Since we have been taking referral from Walsall Council (April) we have seen over 50 new Walsall based clients and supported with multiple enquiries.

We have valued working closely with all partners and hope that we shall be able to work even closer to support the community of Walsall.
