The Just Finance Network

Thanks to the Mustard Seed Appeal last year, we launched the Just Finance Network to work for a fair financial system where everyone is included; to work with people facing a financial crisis and to help all of us manage money wisely.

This means making sure that people can get the support and services they need:

  • free debt advice
  • help with budgeting
  • access to affordable loans
  • opportunities to save

It also means challenging unfair practices, such as the interest rates of high cost loans and the poverty premium where poor households pay more for essential goods and services.

How we work

We train volunteers so that they can run budgeting courses, encourage saving, and help people take control of their money. Through our local networks, we promote and support credit unions and other community finance providers as we work to improve access to free debt advice.

The JFF is now establishing networks in Liverpool, London, Newcastle, and the West Midlands, bringing together churches, community groups and local organisations.

We need your support this harvest to grow the Just Finance Foundation. We want to reach each of the 9 million over-indebted adults and all of us in England who want support to stop being a slave to their money and start living life in all its fullness.

If you would like to make a difference, could you consider making the Mustard Seed Appeal a part of your harvest celebrations?
