We believe that everyone can benefit from learning some simple, practical skills around budgeting and money management.

This course offers some introductory training around basic budgeting skills. It’s run as an informal and fun group activity in two sessions each of two hours and is accessible to a wide range of people.

One participant said "It's still a work in progress however I am always more concious now of how much I spend, whether I need it or not and how I might buy it more cheaply"

We also run this as a ‘Training the Trainers’ course for people who would like to go on and deliver the course, (or use some of the tools from the course), with their own congregations, clients or service users.

"We have run the course with 8 people. We found the material easy to use on the whole and we had positive feedback including one lady seeking advice about debts"

The course can be run for a couple of individuals or for larger groups of up to 10 to 12 people. The content can also be adapted to the location and particular service areas of interest. To date the audience for the course has been a real mix, particularly churches, but also public sector services, schools and voluntary sector organisations.

If you would like people from your church, group or organisation to be trained, please email us.
