As well as working with organisations such as the Citizen’s Advice Bureau, Canterbury Food Bank and the Debt Advice Centre, the Connecting Canterbury community hub network also hosts branches of Kent Savers Credit Union. Hubs are open on Tuesday at All Saints Church, Military Road 9.30 - 11.00, and on Fridays at St Dunstan's Church, Whitstable Road 11.30 - 1.30.

A Connecting Canterbury volunteer will listen to people’s problems and suggest and signpost help and support from local agencies ranging from debt advice, fuel poverty and energy savings, to alcohol and drug dependency and domestic violence. Connecting Canterbury also offers branch services for Kent Savers Credit Union so volunteers who are comfortable with numbers are very welcome.
