Welcome to Advent 2018! At CUF we’ve been busy preparing a series of resources that we hope are useful and insightful whether you are a church leader looking to resource your congregation or small group, or an individual looking to explore important issues of social action this Advent. There’s something for everyone!
In the run up to Christmas, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season; so why not take a moment out of your busy day over Advent to reflect on some of the inspiring social action that’s happening all over the country from the Together Network, Near Neighbours and the Just Finance Foundation.
Homelessness guide and Advent Sunday reflections
In the past year nearly 500 people died through homelessness on our streets. At CUF, we think this is unacceptable, that’s why we’ve put together this guide to help you and your congregation understand the issues around homelessness. This handy guide also includes a handy pull-out section for reflection for each Sunday in Advent.
The Advent Sunday reflections are also available as a standalone resource
