Near Neighbours Director of Catalyst Young Leaders
Near Neighbours, an initiative of the Church Urban Fund and the Archbishops’ Council, is seeking a Director for
Catalyst. Catalyst is a dynamic leadership programme for young people, equipping young people from diverse backgrounds to improve local communities.
The Director will be responsible for putting in place a reliable system for recruiting Catalyst participants, through liaising with HE colleges and universities, faith communities and other programmes for young people aged 16-26. They will be responsible for the syllabus, accreditation (currently level 2 with Leicester College) developing innovative and scalable training workshops and in addition devising a programme of activity for Catalyst alumni so as to ensure their retention and continued support for the programme.
We are looking for an individual with a proven track-record in training, leading, influencing and delivering a programme. Beyond this, they must be able to demonstrate first-class communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build relationships with individuals from all backgrounds and to work flexibly.
