Community based Urban Evangelist Following a successful application to the Strategic Development Fund, the Diocese of Blackburn is seeking a lay or ordained Urban Evangelist for the Blackburn leadership hub who will be both tutor and practitioner in an innovative approach to urban mission. Job Location: Blackburn, Over Darwen Job Purpose:Based on the estates of Over Darwen the Urban Evangelists purpose is; To make Christ known to the residents of urban estates. To place the Church at the centre of the community through effective engagement with all communities in the parish. To make new disciples and support new congregations. To train and support ordinands, Church leadership teams and lay members in outer estate ministry.
