Week One
|
Verse for the week
‘The King will reply, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”' (Matthew 25:40)

Prayer for the week
Loving God,
As we journey through this season of Lent, help us to make the right connections between worship and service.
As we reflect on your Son's words ‘Do this in remembrance of me,' help us to remember His words at the footwashing: ‘I have given you an example, go and do likewise.'
May your Holy Spirit keep these words in the forefront of our minds, so that His generous, welcoming ministry will inform our actions, and help us to recognise His presence in the poor and the marginalised.
Amen

In an area that suffers from low income and education levels and high rates of unemployment, Street Level responds to the issue of disaffection among vulnerable young people.
The project engages especially with young people at risk of exclusion or suspension from school.
