An OBE for the Chief Executive

The Church Urban Fund is celebrating the announcement of its Chief Executive, Fran Beckett, being awarded an OBE in this year’s New Year Honours List. Fran Beckett received the award for services to disadvantaged people. On receiving her award Fran commented:

“It is an immense honour and delight to be rewarded for work I am really committed to and enjoy. Over the years I have had the privilege of working with some really outstanding people at all levels, from volunteers through to senior executives and trustees, people who are passionate about what they do and the people they work with and the causes and issues they serve. This award is in part recognition of what working in partnership with others can achieve.”
