The Rt Hon and Most Revd Dr John Sentamu has issued a call for donations to a special fund created for communities in areas hit by the recent floods across England.

 

The Fund will be administered by the Church Urban Fund through its local network of churches and community projects in the affected areas, many of whom are already providing shelter and support.

 

"CUF has a stong track record of nearly twenty years of getting money to where it is most needed in our poorest communities, working through people on the ground with good local knowledge. They will make sure your donations get quickly to the areas where they are most needed, whether in cities, towns or beyond," says Fran Beckett, Chief Executive of the Church Urban Fund.
