Make a big difference during Lent…

Our loose change collection boxes are an easy and flexible way to support the work of Church Urban Fund, and can act as a daily reminder of those living in poverty today.

Simply pop one on your mantelpiece and donate as much or as little of your loose change as you wish, as often as you feel able. At the end of the Lenten period, we’ll ask you to count up and pay in your money.

Collection boxes are not just for Lent. Over the course of a year, the money raised by an average loose change collector could provide five hot meals for a homeless person or a money and debt management session for someone who has lost their job.

If you find you enjoy supporting Church Urban Fund in this way, why not hold onto your box and keep collecting on a permanent basis? Once or twice a year, we’ll write and remind you to count up the money. You could even encourage other members of your church to take boxes too, and enjoy supporting us as a group.
