Act

Church Urban Fund is a vital part of the Church's response to poverty in this country. Our vision is to build up a network of Christians working to transform the lives of people affected by poverty.

We do this by offering advice on networking and capacity building, developing resources, and offering grants to help community work to get off the ground.  We also resource churches, creating bridges between churches and faith groups working in the poorest communities, and churches across the country who support us prayerfully, financially and by raising awareness about poverty.

Resourcing churches

Seasonal church resources - are available from our website or by contacting us on 020 7898 1667. A new Lent poverty course is available to download now.

Churches supporting Church Urban Fund through prayer and donations can build closer links, and engage with the work we support, through our Mission Partner scheme.

We are working to increase our network of voluntary speakers - find out how to join our Speaker Network as part of our mission to increase understanding and awareness about poverty.

Resourcing projects

We offer a range of tools to assist projects, including best-practice guides on employment and working with volunteers, evaluation workshops, training, events and research. We also provide grants and funding advice.
