Church Engagement Manager, Church Relationships Manager and Church Appeals Manager

These roles would be suited to individuals with experience of working in a fundraising environment and who are passionate about the Church's role in tackling poverty in England.

Church Engagement Manager, London £31,000pa
 
As a Church Engagement Manager you will assist in developing and implementing the fundraising plans for Church Urban Fund’s joint venture partnerships with the dioceses of the Church of England.
 
This role will also be responsible for raising awareness and encouraging support of churches, clergy and individuals in parts of the South East region of England for Church Urban Fund’s transformational work in the most deprived areas of the country.
 
Church Relationship Coordinator (P/T), North West £31,000pa pro rata
 
As a Church Relationship Co-ordinator you will be responsible for increasing Church Urban Fund’s presence in the North West of England.
 
Raising awareness and encouraging support of churches, clergy and individuals in the region for CUF’s transformational work in the most deprived areas of the country. Please note this is a regional, home-based, part-time role (21 hours/week).
 
Church Appeals Manager (P/T), London £31,000pa pro rata
 
As a Church Appeals Manager you will be responsible for raising awareness and encouraging the support of churches, clergy and individuals.
 
Managing our expanding programme of church-based fundraising products you will ensure we raise key funds to continue our work with the country’s poorest and most marginalised.


If you are an experienced direct marketer, with a flair for mail and email campaigns that go beyond the norm, plus a track record of successful appeals, then this could be the role for you.


Volunteer Operations Coordinator (P/T), Location negotiable/London £28,000p.a. pro rata

As a Volunteering Operations Coordinator you will work with Joint Ventures, Anglican dioceses and other church organisations across England to:

  • Promote volunteering and the key role congregations have in tackling poverty together and the need to act together through volunteering.
  • Equip Joint Ventures with tools and tactics – enabling people in poorer churches to volunteer
  • Build networks of volunteer activists – growing the contribution and support of churches through volunteers working to tackle poverty.

The role will be responsible for managing our Church Urban Fund ‘Do-it’ website, maximising use of this key resource across England.

If you have experience of volunteer management and development with a flair for training and facilitating workshops, plus a track record of successfully recruiting volunteers then this could be the role for you.
